Artisan Market 17th & 18th September

Upcoming Wobage Events Posted on Tue, September 06, 2016 22:18:43

As part of the final weekend of h.Art, (from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September), Wobage will play host to the Artisan Market for the second time. This was a great fun event and hugely exciting for us last year. The reaction was so positive that we extended this to a 2 day event.
Have a look at the websites of the makers invited to take part – it will be a wonderful opportunity to meet them, and buy some wonderful work!

h.Art at Wobage Makers Gallery and One-Day Artisan Market

Upcoming Wobage Events Posted on Fri, July 31, 2015 12:12:47

For the
first time at Wobage on the last Saturday of h.Art, (Hereford Art Week, look
out for the pink road signs), we are delighted to host a one-day Artisan Market of
selected makers of Fine Foods and Contemporary Crafts. There will be Rowan
McOnegal’s stained glass, wallpaper by Anneliese Appleby, Locklamp, Susan
Holton Knitwear, Weavepoint and Kitchenwood; Sarah Jarrett-Kerr, Hillbrook’s
Luxury Ice Cream, Foragers, and Carol’s Cakes, in addition to the work
exhibited in the Gallery Barn of ceramics, books, furniture, baskets and
jewellery.

This is an exciting exhibition of designer makers sharing a
professional ethos for high quality products, with attention to detail in
design, materials, making and finishing. The ‘Artisan Market’ is very exciting for us: it’s a natural
progression of what we do best here at Wobage, – it is about making everything an
enjoyable, pleasurable and meaningful experience that enhances and enriches
everyday living.

Open
from 10.00am until 5pm in the Great Threshing Barn. The main exhibition in the
Gallery Barn (as part of h.Art week) runs from 12th-20th September. Telephone
for times or see our website for more details nearer the time. Entry is free. A selection of
coffee, tea and homemade cakes will be available.
